Therapy for Stress and Burnout
At Approach Therapy, We Help People Learn to Manage Anxiety and Stress, Take Control of Their Lives, and Feel Better.
Have you realized something isn’t working in your life
and you want to make a change?
No matter what, you feel like you’ve dug yourself into a hole, and now you can’t get out. You might have tried therapy in the past, but never felt heard or validated. It’s a scary place to be, and now you’ve gathered up the courage to take that big first step.
Maybe…
Are you ready to stop feeling so overwhelmed and anxious?
Think about what life would be like if you were able to cope with your negative feelings and find strategies to work through your problems. How would you feel if you could navigate problems on your own, instead of falling through the cracks? Imagine the kind of progress you could make if you approach your feelings in a new light, and find a something that works for you.
Being here is a step in the right direction. You are coming closer to a point where you want to make a change. Perhaps you decided it might be helpful for you to talk to someone about what’s been going on. If so, you are finally ready to stop avoiding the problem and start dealing with what’s been bothering you and causing your anxiety. You are ready to take the next step.
Approach therapy
Started by Dr. Melanie Chinchilla, Approach Therapy helps high-performing, stressed out young professionals and People of Color start to feel better. We know what its like to walk in your shoes because we have been there. Approach Therapy is run by diverse therapists who see the world through your eyes. She started Approach Therapy to impact real change in her community and to provide a space where clients could see themselves reflected in the staff.
The world can be a scary place, especially for women and People of Color. Whether you’re out in public, in your place of employment, or even at home, you can encounter everything from microaggressions to acts of racial violence, sexual harassment, and other serious problems. We also know that in a world full of white therapists, it can be difficult for People of Color to find a validating voice, which makes it more difficult to get to a therapeutic place.
At Approach Therapy, we aren’t interested in staying silent about these issues. We want to be part of a push for societal change and equality for all people, fighting against the systems and groups that try to maintain the unequal systems of oppression already in place.
Stop doing the same thing and getting the same results. You can learn to manage stress, navigate your anxiety, and learn better ways to cope with your feelings.
You can put yourself back in the driver’s seat, take back control of your life, and deal with what’s been bothering you. Change can happen organically, but how much longer are you going to wait for change to happen on its own?
