Courtney Morris, Therapist in California

I help stressed and anxious individuals make changes and feel better.

You have a tendency to prioritize others and secretly worry that you are not doing enough. If this is not hard enough, COVID-19 brought a new set of stressors as you are overwhelmed by illness, updates, and uncertainty. Stress, anxiety, and the unknown bring you close to your breaking point. Life feels more difficult than ever and its hard to feel motivated or optimistic. You worry and secretly think that, if you worry enough, you will avoid the pain that seems to be looming around every corner. Unfortunately, worrying about something does not help you feel better.

Change is possible.

You want to wake up and feel good about the day ahead. You don’t want to resent the people you love or feel irritated all the time. You want to feel like you are living in your life, not just watching time pass by. You want to feel empowered, valued, and able to achieve your goals. While it may be hard to believe, the life you want is within reach.

I help anxious people learn to feel better and manage stressful situations.

I help people survive and thrive during difficult times. Whether you are dealing with stress, sadness, or uncertainty, I can help you make changes to improve your quality of life. I know this has been hard. Sometimes change feels impossible. However, you don’t need to suffer in silence. Reach out and schedule an appointment today.

A Little About My Background

I attended California State University, Bakersfield, where I earned my Master of Social Work. I have worked in medical, community, and university-based positions providing services to adults across the lifespan. Most recently, I have worked in both the public and private sector as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW # 69935) in the state of California. I really enjoy working with older adults and people experiencing stress and anxiety from big life changes.
